Dear friends and neighbors,
I am a 10-years owner/resident of the Hemispheres Condominiums and love living in this community. I permanently reside here with my wife Olga Lucia Gonzalez year round. I am also a military veteran and served in the US Air Force.
I have over 30 years of extensive experience in the Hospitality industry including 5 Star Hotels such as Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons and Mandarin Oriental. My experience includes Operations, Human Resources, Budgeting & Finance, Cost Controls, and Executive Management.
I have expertise in ensuring the highest in client service, maximizing revenue potential, personnel management, analysis of budgetary data and information. In addition, I have negotiated contracts and managed major construction projects.
I am running for the Hemispheres’ Board of Directors because I know that with my knowledge and experience I could make a valuable contribution on many levels. My commitment, if elected, would be to be transparent to the community, keep people well informed, listen to their opinions and suggestions and make the Hemispheres a place where people are treated with even more respect and dignity.
With my extensive background in hospitality, I know I can make a difference in our community by improving our customer service levels in all areas of our community. For example, customer service starts at the front door and we need to have people feel welcomed and safe upon arrival at our property. When one of our residents needs assistance, our staff must do everything within reason to accommodate the request. I believe we can make changes so when a request is made the answer is: “it will be my pleasure to help”, instead of “no I can’t”.

Dear neighbors,
I have been a Hemispheres owner for the past 11 years and am submitting my candidacy for a seat on the board of directors. I would like to let you know a bit about my experience and my goals.
I have 40 years of experience as a top executive and have specialized in management, computer services and finances. I also successfully performed my duties on two different condo boards, one of which was as a treasurer.
I have decided to submit my candidacy because I care about the Hemispheres and would like to contribute to making it an even better place.
If you elect me to the Board, my prime concerns would be to get involved into finances, increasing efficiency to owners throughout online services and making sure every owner gets served in a human and personalized manner.
I am recently retired and have a lot of time to devote to the Hemispheres and solicit the privilege to make you all benefit from my 40 years experiences and knowledge. I pride myself for being proactive, a hard worker, meticulous, very respectful of others and having a strong ethical code.
In that respect, I have already studied our financial documents carefully and have identified possible savings in the amount of $750,000 in the budget while maintaining and exceeding the quality of service. Dear Neighbors
For the past 17 years, I have proudly called The Hemispheres “my home” and I plan to do so for many more years to come. I would like to be a member of the board because I believe that my knowledge and experience will be beneficial for improving The Hemispheres and make it the residence of choice for all owners.
Indeed, if elected, I will bring to the board expertise and over 25 years of experience in initiation, evaluation, and project management of building, and consumer-centered service design and technology. I have been a visionary for projects in the retail, financial, insurance, and building industries, as well as for non-profit organizations. I am Master of Architecture and I have continuing education and certifications in human computer interaction and complex networks analysis.
Living in the 21st century demands a 21st century property management style. Today, we are still required to send letters or go to the office to get information. Neighbors who reside out of town feel often disconnected from life in the Hemispheres. To bridge this growing gap, we need to implement a consumer-centered technology that promotes efficiency, transparency, and accountability. We should be able to get the information we need, view the history of our property accounts, and have the option to pay our dues securely online from anywhere in the world.
If you elect me to the board, I will faithfully and honestly serve the residents of The Hemispheres, in cooperation with the other board members. I will remember that I was elected to serve you and make this an even greater place to live.

Dear Friends & Neighbors of 15 years,
I am running for the Board of Directors of The Hemispheres and wish to share some information about myself and my reasons for wanting to serve.
Professionally, I am a US government licensed Registered Investment Advisor. Clients trust me to buy & sell stocks & bonds on their behalf. There is never a conflict of interest. I am also a Financial Planner. Professionally, I earlier oversaw the management of hundreds of apartment units in Dallas, TX. Consequently, I have had lots of dealings with Real Estate issues and will bring a valuable contribution to the management of The Hemispheres.
If elected, I will do what it takes to make The Hemispheres an even more pleasant place for owners & will use my experience to improve the Association’s finances. I will wisely use committees to enhance the decision making of the Board. We have such a pool of talented people here. I will urge Board term limits - i.e., good ethical governance.
My wife Vicki and I care about the Hemispheres. We now call it “home” and are proceeding to file for homestead as Florida residents.
